The first track takes inspiration from the Batman Returns soundtrack (Selina Transforms). This shows you, that Shining seems to be inspired by all kinds of music. I love the dissonant melodies on this album, theres a few of them that sound very sinister and unsetteling. The Rammstein cover is quite interesting aswell, since I do like it more than the original.

As black metal enters it's third decade, SHINING's Niklas Kvarforth continues to be its leading Agent Provocateur; inciting as much consternation among the "true" as he does fanaticism among the soon-to-be soiled minds of his growing legions of devotees. Kvarforth's antics, opinions, and sometimes mere presence is accompanied by the gnashing teeth and wailing, tone-deaf opinions of the self-proclaimed genre "elite".
In the true rock and roll outlaw spirit, Kvarforth's SHINING adds yet more fuel to the fire with their brazen new album 'IX - Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends'. An altogether moodier, more reflective album than the bands previous works, the album eschews much of the genre standard fare for epic tracks whose weight come from raw emotion over dropped tunings and studio trickery. An epic, unmissable beast of an album, 'IX - Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends' delivers nothing less than a lethal dose of perception-shattering madness from the genres most polarizing band.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once.....
